Shaun Livingston is making the most of his opportunity as a starter in the Brooklyn Nets’ rotation. The 28-year-old dropped 23 points in Monday night’s 108-98 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, shooting 8-of-14 in 29 minutes on the floor. Two of the game’s loudest points, however, came from Livingston’s dunk over Robin Lopez.
Livingston, at the top of the key, drove past Damian Lilliard before launching from just outside the protected circle and posterizing Lopez with a left-handed slam.
The Nets got the huge dunk, but the Blazers got the big win, improving to 9-2 on the young season. Brooklyn now sits at 3-7.
