In case you haven’t been paying attention to the first week or so of the NBA regular season, Kevin Love has been awesome. He’s second in the league in scoring at 27.2 points per game, leads the league in rebounding at 14.7 per game, and has helped the Timberwolves to a 4-2 record. Not to mention, he’s also chipping in 5 assists a night as well. He’s right up there with Paul George and LeBron James for the very early MVP award rankings.
Last night, he was at it again as the Dallas Mavericks visited the Target Center to take on Love and the Timberwolves. His 32 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists led the way as the Wolves knocked off the visitors, 116-108.
His 8 assists included a number of beauties. There was a little bit of everything, as Love threw some crisp bounce pass as well as some of his patented outlet passes which he put on the money.
It’s great to have Love back healthy, putting up crazy numbers and leading a really fun Wolves team.
