Pass of the Night: Stephen Curry to Harrison Barnes (Video)

For the 2nd time in three days, it’s the Golden State Warriors claiming the Pass of the Night. On Tuesday, it was Andre Iguodala for his mid-air, behind-the-back feed to David Lee against the Philadelphia 76ers. Last night, it was Stephen Curry who took home the honors.

Continuing on their four-game road trip, the Warriors were in Minnesota last night for a match-up with the Timberwolves. With three different starters scoring over 20 points (Klay Thompson with 30, 20 from Andre Iguodala, and David Lee adding 22), the Warriors cruised to a 106-93 victory over the home squad.

Curry was not one of the Warriors’ 20-point scorers – finishing with just 5 – because he only played 24 minutes after injuring his ankle. But even among trips to the bench and the locker room and then back to the court, Curry was able to provide the highlight of the night with his pass to Harrison Barnes.

Late in the 3rd quarter, Barnes deflected a Ricky Rubio pass, which was ultimately picked up by David Lee. Lee through an outlet pass far ahead of both Curry and Barnes, who were streaking downcourt. Curry – who was ahead of Barnes – caught up to the pass first. Without stopping, Curry leapt into the air and bounced the ball backwards, between his legs to a trailing Barnes, who finished off the play with a dunk.
