ICYMI: Suggested Basketball Reading From Across the Web

After another hectic, action-packed night of basketball last night, the pace slows down tonight with just three games on the schedule. With a TNT doubleheader of the Los Angeles Clippers vs. the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Houston Rockets, we won’t be bored, however. You also won’t be bored if you check out today’s suggested basketball readings from across the web. So here you go.

Q&A: Mario Chalmers on playing with superstars, being yelled at, and more: By Holly MacKenzie (@stackmack

Mario Chalmers is understandably not the first name that comes to mind when the Miami Heat are brought up. And for all the jokes and slander he takes, he’s actually one of the league’s better point guards. Over at SB Nation, Holly MacKenzie got a chance to talk with Chalmers about playing with LeBron and Wade, among other things.

Friends and Gatekeepers: By Jacob Greenberg (@jacobjpg

Watching Stephen Curry (even as a non-Golden State Warriors fan) is as exciting as the NBA can get. But always in the back of my mind is the thought of his “bad ankles,” and the hope that he can stay healthy. Last night he went down injured, though thankfully it doesn’t appear to be that bad. Over at The Diss, Jacob Greenberg (who is a Warriors fan) wrote about Curry and injuries and the feelings that come when those two words are used together.
