ICYMI: Suggested Basketball Reading From Across the Web

Another night of FANtastic NBA action in the books. We saw the Philadelphia 76ers stun the Miami Heat, the Minnesota Timberwolves knock off the Orlando Magic in an overtime thriller, and the return of Andrew Bynum for the Cleveland Cavaliers. A two game set waits for us tonight, with the Chicago Bulls taking on the New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors facing off against the Los Angeles Clippers. Both games can be seen on TNT. Until then, you should do a little reading. Perhaps you can check out today’s suggested basketball readings from across the web.

The Craft: An Interview with Jonathan Abrams: By Andy Liu (@AndyKHLiu)

This is really cool. Jonathan Abrams of Grantland is one of the best basketball writers around. His recent long form pieces include features on Andre Drummond and Korleone Young, which are both fantastic and worth your time. Over at Hickory High, Andy Liu got the chance to chat with Abrams, and pick his mind about all things writing.

The One That Got Away: By Jordan White (@JordanSWhite)

“What if?” It’s a question we ask ourselves countless times over the course of the day, both in regards to sports and our personal lives. Over at Hardwood Paroxysm, Jordan White beautifully weaves a story of “what if?” that switches between the Spurs after Game 6 of last year’s NBA Finals and a personal experience.
