Last night was an exhilarating 13 game slate, filled with almost too much action to keep track of. Tonight however, there are only two games on the docket. We have a TNT doubleheader featuring the Chicago Bulls vs. the New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors vs. the Los Angeles Clippers.

If you have to pick just one of these two, it should be the nightcap. The Golden State Warriors vs. the Los Angeles Clippers is quite clearly tonight’s Game of the Night.

Coming into tonight’s match-up, each team has played one game. The Clippers suffered a surprising opening night loss to their cross-town rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers. The Warriors, meanwhile, easily handled business against those same Lakers last night, winning 125-94, behind a career-high 38 points from Klay Thompson.

Tonight’s affair promises to be a high scoring one, as both teams possess high powered offenses. The Clippers, led by Point God, Chris Paul added J.J. Redick and Jared Dudley to an already great offense. With Blake Griffin improving, and DeAndre Jordan always there to catch alley-oops and clean up down low, they are dangerous from all over the court. The Warriors, meanwhile, have a man you may have heard of: Stephen Curry. He’s one of the most exciting players in the league, capable of rising and firing from anywhere within 30 feet. His supporting cast isn’t too shabby either, with Andre Iguodala signing up to join the squad, which already featured Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes and David Lee.

Be sure to stay up late to catch this West coast shootout.

The Pick: After a back and forth game, Stephen Curry heats up in the 4th quarter to lead the Warriors to a 106-99 victory.
