Only a three game slate tonight, and the “Game of the Night” tonight is pretty obvious. It’s the Chicago Bulls vs. the Miami Heat.

Before the game, the Heat will hold their second straight banner ceremony and receive their championship rings. On their way to that title, they knocked off the Bulls in a series that was much closer than it should have been, thanks to the inspired effort of Joakim Noah and company.

Tonight, the two will renew their rivalry, this time with Derrick Rose on the court. After returning to the court for the first time earlier this month in preseason action, this will be Rose’s first regular season action in over a year.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Derrick Rose are more than enough reason to check out this game. As is the custom anytime the Bulls step out on to the court, this will be a tough, hard-fought battle, and a great start to this new NBA season.

The Pick: Chicago will give Miami a tough time, but ultimately LeBron and the Heat will take care of business. Miami Heat 94 – Chicago Bulls 87

Eh, I agree with Jack. I think Miami will pull away. Should be exciting though!
