Perks Of Being Vine Famous: Play Cody Zeller One-On-One, Dunk On Bismack Biyombo

Apparently, being Vine famous has its perks and for Mooresville-native Nash Grier, that came in the form of an invite to the Charlotte Bobcats’ practice on Monday afternoon.

Why he got the invite, I’m wasn’t really sure to begin with. It seemed kind of odd to me that an NBA franchise would reach out to someone like Nash because, well, what is he going to do? There’s only so much you can do with six seconds of video and most NBA teams don’t want anyone messing around with their players. I just thought he’d stand around, snap a couple of photos and maybe shoot a Vine of him watching the Bobcats practice.

But it turns out that I’m just a pessimist because, first of all, he got into an intense one-on-one battle with Cody Zeller, which, uhhhh, didn’t go so well for him.

Then later on, he broke out the #DunkCam.

Just so we’re clear, that’s a 5-foot-something teenager dunking on Bismack Biyombo – one of the best shot blockers in the game today. And judging by his teammates’ reaction, Bismack will be hearing about this one for a while.

Now, where do I have to sign to become Vine famous?
