Ever since he was drafted, Iman Shumpert has been a fan favorite in New York. He’s also the Knicks’ best young player at only 23 years old. But despite being a defensive stalwart and an improving three-point shooter (especially from the corners), he doesn’t get the praise from his coaches that you would expect. Over at CBS Sports, Matt Moore wondered about whether Mike Woodson is being unnecessarily tough on Shumpert. He thinks that Shumpert should deserve more support for what he’s done so far in his young career.
