Preseason games are in full swing now as we move closer and closer (just 16 days now!) to the start of the regular season. Instead of watching football today, you should be reading up on all the great words out there about the NBA in order to get prepared for the season. As always, we’re here with some recommendations. So check out today’s suggested basketball readings from across the web.
After making it all the way to the Western Conference Finals last year, the Memphis Grizzlies are bringing back pretty much the same team (save for a few free agent signings) to try and make another deep playoff run. Over at SB Nation’s Grizzly Bear Blues, Joe Mullinax took a look at a handful of pairings the Grizzlies can use this year – both in the frontcourt and backcourt. He gave his opinion on which of those pairings will work well, and which ones won’t.
At 36 years old, Pablo Prigioni is entering just his second NBA season. Last year, the Argentine point guard provided a steadying presence at the position. He didn’t put up great numbers, but he was a valuable part of the Knicks’ roster last year. Over at FanSided’s Buckets Over Broadway, Richard Bertin took a look at what we can expect to see from Prigioni this year.
