The debates will likely never end about what method is the best way to go about rebuilding in the the NBA. Many teams bottom out and “tank” for a chance at the top draft pick. The Bucks, however, have decided to toil away in mediocrity, in hopes of a few breaks taking them to real playoff contention. After getting traded to the Houston Rockets and taking the reigns as the team’s leader last season, James Harden emerged as one of the league’s best players. Along with a solid supporting cast, he led the Rockets to the playoffs. Now that the Rockets have picked up Dwight Howard, they are favorites to contend for the Western Conference crown. If they are to contend, they will once again need Harden to be one of the league’s best.
