It’s Not You, It’s Me

Look, it’s even Golden State colors!

From the land of “where all good friendships go to die!”(Los Angeles, for those slow on the uptake) comes this little gem about the personal and professional friendships of Elton Brand and Corey Maggette.

You can have all the Stephon Marbury quotes you want, but when Brand let’s his management know that he loves Corey too much to play along side him and his fire-blasting, pass allergic selfishness for the good of their friendship?… now That’s Entertainment.

I’m suprised that this storyline never happened in Hang Time. Or, maybe it did. Somebody put in a call to Reggie Theus and see if we can get a script supervisor.

Frankly, I think this shows, yet again, how great a guy Elton Brand is. Also, the dude wants to freakin’ win some basketball games. Looks like he really snuck one by ole Mag this time. Catch Elton’s latest love advice in his new monthly Maxim column.
